Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure within AWS.
• Design and manage Kubernetes environments and cloud-native platform services.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Build self-service tools and automation that reduce manual, ticket-driven infrastructure work.
• Support CI/CD, deployment automation, and developer enablement initiatives.
• Improve platform reliability through monitoring, observability, alerting, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Support AWS networking and security, including VPCs, routing, security groups, segmentation, WAF, F5, and Cloudflare.
• Partner with Engineering and Security teams to improve platform scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tooling, to improve platform operations and engineering productivity.

Qualification

• 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or related disciplines
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Experience building and supporting highly available production infrastructure
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, automation, CI/CD, cloud networking, and security
• Experience with observability, monitoring, incident response, and production troubleshooting
• Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service infrastructure is preferred
• Fintech, payments, financial services, or other regulated-industry experience is a plus
