Platform Engineer | Observability & Automation

I’m working with a leading European Bank who are looking for a Kubernetes-focused Platform Engineer to join a highly technical observability and security platform team.

The focus is on engineering and automating modern observability platforms using:

• Kubernetes
• Prometheus and Grafana
• OpenTelemetry
• CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
• Python and Linux automation
• Metrics, Events, Logs and Traces

You will build and operate platform workloads, develop telemetry pipelines, and create self-service automation that enables Security and SOC teams to onboard data and deploy.

Splunk experience is beneficial, but strong Kubernetes, platform engineering and observability experience is the priority.

This role would suit someone proactive and independent who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex engineering problems and replacing manual processes with scalable automation.
