Job Summary

Spark Techwave InnovationZ Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to design, build, maintain, and improve scalable cloud infrastructure and internal developer platforms.

The candidate will work on Kubernetes, cloud services, infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, monitoring, and developer self-service tools to improve application deployment, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent tools.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
• Support internal developer platforms and self-service deployment workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, workloads, deployments, services, ingress, and configuration.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, availability, and performance.
• Implement infrastructure security, IAM, secrets management, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and application platform issues.
• Establish reusable templates, deployment standards, and platform best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, SRE, DevOps, security, and architecture teams.
• Support incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain platform documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• 26 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Familiarity with Git and version-control practices.
• Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and access control.
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience building or supporting an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
• Knowledge of Backstage or similar developer portal technologies.
• Experience with Helm and Kubernetes operators.
• Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Loki.
• Experience with Vault or cloud-native secrets management.
• Knowledge of policy-as-code tools such as OPA or Kyverno.
• Experience with service catalogues, golden paths, and reusable deployment templates.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and software supply-chain security.
• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or CKA.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong hands-on cloud infrastructure and automation experience.
• Ability to build reliable, reusable platform components.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience enabling developers to deploy and operate applications efficiently.
• Strong debugging and incident-resolution skills.
• Ability to collaborate across development and operations teams.
• Good communication and technical documentation skills.
