We are looking for skilled and motivated professionals to join our Data Engineering Platform Support team . If you have experience in Data Engineering operations, big data technologies, platform monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting, we would love to hear from you!

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day technical operations and platform support to ensure high availability, stability, and performance.
• Monitor platform health, applications, infrastructure, alerts, logs, and dashboards using ELK Stack and other monitoring tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data processing jobs using Apache Spark, Spark UI, and Apache Airflow.
• Support and troubleshoot technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Kafka, NiFi, S3, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Handle incidents, service requests, changes, and escalations through ITSM tools while adhering to agreed SLAs/SLOs.
• Perform initial-level troubleshooting, job reruns, service restoration, and escalation of unresolved issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), resolve complex technical issues, and address recurring incidents.
• Monitor Java APIs, application logs, traces, and Kubernetes/EKS environments.
• Develop automation scripts and self-healing mechanisms to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Handle user queries, customer escalations, and data-related requests within agreed timelines.
• Participate in platform maintenance, configuration changes, integrations, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Support and mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to incident, change, and problem management processes.

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience in Technical Operations, TechOps, or Data Engineering Platform Support.
• Knowledge of Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Apache Spark, and Apache Airflow .
• Experience with platform monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting using ELK Stack or similar tools.
• Understanding of Linux, Shell scripting, SQL, and database fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Kafka, NiFi, S3, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, problem management, and ITSM tools.
• For L2 roles: Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Jenkins CI/CD, Java API monitoring, automation, and complex incident resolution is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment.

🔹 Experience Criteria

L1 – Technical Operations Support

• 1–3 years of experience in technical operations or platform support.
• Exposure to Data Engineering platforms, ETL tools, Linux, SQL, Spark, Airflow, and monitoring tools.
• Ability to perform health checks, monitor jobs, troubleshoot basic issues, and manage incidents.

L2 – Technical Support Engineer

• 3–6 years of experience in TechOps or Data Engineering Platform Support.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across big data technologies, platform infrastructure, applications, and databases.
• Experience in root cause analysis, incident resolution, automation, performance monitoring, and cross-team coordination.
