About the Role

The Platform Engineer (DevSecOps) role will support the implementation and operations of platform infrastructure (cloud and on-premise), including automation, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices. The role focuses on ensuring system reliability, performance, and efficiency to enable development and support teams to deliver services effectively.

Role Description

1. Platform Operations & Reliability

• Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and reliability in line with defined SLA/SLO.
• Support incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to minimize system downtime.
• Assist in managing cloud infrastructure and on-premise environments to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.

2. DevOps & Automation Support

• Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Assist in automation of infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Contribute to improving system efficiency through automation and operational best practices.

3 Monitoring & Observability

• Support the setup and maintenance of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Assist in analyzing system metrics and logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.

4. Cross-functional Support

• Collaborate with development teams to provide stable and efficient development environments.
• Support infrastructure-related tasks for project delivery and system implementation.
• Assist in preparing documentation and evidence for compliance, audits, and security requirements (e.g., patching, backups, logs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code concepts (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of system monitoring, logging, and incident management processes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
