Platform Engineer - Orbit Core

Key Responsibilities:

• Design build and manage scalable platform infrastructure across cloud and on premises environments
• Develop and maintain CI CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform Ansible CloudFormation or Pulumi
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python Java or Go
• Manage containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Implement Infrastructure as Code IaC and configuration management solutions
• Support application deployment release management and environment provisioning
• Monitor platform health system performance and application reliability
• Implement observability using monitoring logging and alerting tools
• Troubleshoot infrastructure deployment and application issues
• Collaborate with Development SRE Security and Operations teams
• Implement DevSecOps practices security controls and compliance requirements
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance scalability and cost efficiency
• Manage source code repositories and branching strategies
• Drive platform modernization automation and continuous improvement initiatives
