Platform Engineer / Solution Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Platform Engineer / Software Engineer to join our technical delivery team. In this role, you will work hands-on at the intersection of application development, infrastructure automation, and modern CI/CD practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Development: Write and maintain robust Ansible playbooks, Terraform scripts, and server-side automation (Shell/Python) to streamline infrastructure and application deployments.
• Platform & Container Operations: Assist in the configuration, administration, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise Kubernetes (K8s) clusters.
• CI/CD & DevOps Pipeline: Build, maintain, and enhance Git-based CI/CD pipelines to automate software building, testing, security checks, and continuous deployment.
• Backend Systems Integration: Develop and integrate server backend scripts and microservices, ensuring proper change control, security compliance, and system documentation.
• Project Delivery & Practice: Work closely with customers to implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and application workloads following strict enterprise security standards.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering, Backend Development, Systems Automation, or DevOps engineering.

• Core Skills:

  • Backend & Scripting: Solid proficiency in Shell scripting, Python, or core backend languages for system tasks.
  • Containerization: Practical understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) cluster concepts, pod management, and basic administration.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Working knowledge of Ansible playbooks or Terraform scripts.
  • CI/CD & Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git repository workflows and CI/CD pipeline configuration (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Security & Change Governance: Familiarity with change management procedures, access control, and security best practices for code and infrastructure.

Nice to Have (Added Advantage)

• Experience with RESTful API integration or exposure to API gateways.
• Familiarity with database platforms (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Understanding of enterprise Linux environments (RHEL/Ubuntu) or Windows Server administration.
• Exposure to AI frameworks, LLM integrations, or AI Guardrails tools.
