Platform Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Platform Operations Manager to manage and scale the day-to-day operations of an Agri-Tech platform/app.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning across onboarding, marketplace, logistics, customer support, content, payments, and other digital modules while driving process optimisation, automation, operational efficiency, and user experience.

Candidates with hands-on experience in creating, launching, managing, or operating an Agri-Tech portal/app and independently handling its end-to-end operations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of all platform modules.

Handle farmer/vendor onboarding, product listings, marketplace and order fulfilment.

Coordinate with Technology, Logistics, Content, Support, Marketing and other teams.

Develop and implement SOPs and continuously improve operational processes.

Monitor platform performance, TAT, NPS, defect rates and other KPIs.

Handle issue escalation and ensure timely resolution.

Identify operational risks and implement preventive controls.

Drive automation, scalability and process efficiency.

Manage and train Operations Executives/Coordinators.

Ensure smooth end-to-end operations of the Agri-Tech portal/app.

Required Skills

7–10 years of relevant experience.

Strong leadership and team-management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and process-optimisation abilities.

Experience managing digital platforms and operational tools.

Strong cross-functional coordination.

Analytical and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Agri-Tech / E-commerce platform experience preferred.

Hands-on experience creating or operating an Agri-Tech portal/app is an added advantage.
