About the role

As Platform Operations Specialist, you will both design and run the operations behind a B2B/B2R (business-to-retailer) marketplace that helps brands, manufacturers, and distributors sell surplus and returned inventory to business buyers through a transparent, auction-based model. You will draft the policies, standards, and SOPs the platform runs on: grading standards, auction rules, dispute policies, and payout schedules. Your manager will review and approve them, and you will put them into practice. Then you will refine them as real transaction data comes in.

Key responsibilities

• Draft grading standards and manifest templates for sellers listing inventory
• Propose listing rules, pricing guidelines, and fee structures
• Design dispute resolution policies, seller payout schedules, and holdback rules
• Define business verification standards and category-specific compliance requirements for buyers and sellers
• Write and maintain SOPs for every core operational process
• Present policy proposals with supporting data, and roll them out once approved
• Oversee listing review to ensure seller submissions meet grading standards before going live
• Monitor active listings and orders, and act on unusual activity, pricing issues, or listing errors
• Resolve buyer–seller disputes when delivered goods don't match listings, and escalate high-value or unusual cases
• Build and manage relationships with freight, trucking, and 3PL/warehouse partners for large-lot fulfillment

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 4–6 years of experience in operations, ideally in e-commerce, marketplace, logistics, or fintech businesses
• Hands-on expertise in at least two of the following areas: marketplace or seller operations, logistics and fulfillment, payment/escrow/financial reconciliation, seller/buyer verification and compliance
• Proven experience writing policies, standards, or SOPs that were adopted and used
• Experience supervising, coaching, or training at least one team member
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy, especially with transactions and money
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets required; SQL is a plus
• Able to present proposals clearly and defend them with data, while staying open to feedback
• Good communication skills in Thai and English
• Comfortable in a fast-changing startup environment where processes are still being built
