We are looking for an experienced Platform Tools Engineer to own, administer, and continuously improve the organization’s SDLC tooling ecosystem. The role will drive tool standardization, automation, AI adoption, governance, and measurable improvements in engineering productivity.

The ideal candidate will bring a product-oriented approach to platform tooling and work closely with engineering, transformation, project management, cloud platform, and cybersecurity teams to deliver scalable, integrated, secure, and compliant solutions. [JD_ Platfo...gineer_SAS | Word]

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve enterprise SDLC tools as scalable internal platforms.
• Define standardized workflows, templates, configurations, and best practices across engineering teams.
• Manage the tooling roadmap, backlog, priorities, and continuous value delivery.
• Administer, configure, customize, automate, and govern the Atlassian ecosystem.
• Drive adoption of AI capabilities across SDLC tools and engineering workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve delivery efficiency.
• Establish AI governance and guardrails covering compliance, security, and data privacy.
• Integrate SDLC tools with CI/CD platforms, cloud environments, collaboration tools, and service management systems.
• Enable end-to-end visibility across the delivery lifecycle, from ideation and development through deployment and operations.
• Define access controls, governance models, security standards, and audit mechanisms.
• Build dashboards and reports to track SDLC performance, adoption, productivity, and delivery KPIs.
• Collaborate with engineering, transformation, project management, cloud, and cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Provide user onboarding, documentation, training, and platform enablement.
• Continuously optimize tools and processes using user feedback, metrics, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps tooling, SDLC platforms, platform engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience administering the Atlassian Suite , including:
• Jira
• Confluence
• Jira Product Discovery
• Jira Service Management
• Expertise in Jira administration, including company-managed and team-managed projects.
• Strong experience configuring workflows, permissions, schemes, templates, automation, and integrations.
• Experience defining SDLC tool architecture, governance frameworks, and optimization strategies.
• Experience integrating SDLC tools with platforms such as GitHub, Azure, Slack, and Miro .
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Agile practices, CI/CD, and the software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience driving automation, AI adoption, and engineering productivity improvements.
• Strong understanding of access management, auditability, security, compliance, and data privacy.
• Experience building dashboards, reports, and KPIs for engineering and delivery performance.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Product mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement, adoption, and measurable outcomes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Atlassian tools in a large enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled capabilities within SDLC and engineering tools.
• Experience leading tool consolidation, migration, transformation, or standardization initiatives.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, developer experience, platform engineering, and service management.
• Ability to translate business and engineering requirements into scalable platform solutions.
