About the role
This role involves laboratory control and chemical process control in a plating operation, managing solution levels, filter maintenance, chemical analysis, and process optimization to ensure plating bath stability and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Lab Control ;
- Control the level of the solution in the bath
- Replace the filter of the plating tank
- Conduct hull cell tests and adjust chemicals in the tank if abnormalities are found
- Analyse the metal in plating bath by AAS machine
- Analyse KCN, H2SO4, partA (antiox) by titration
- Input data into files and board
- Perform chemical replenishment for precious metal
- Control plating parameters
- Prepare replenishment chemicals for system alarms
- Chemical Process Control
- Monitor and verify chemical analysis results to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Develop and optimize the plating process to improve process stability
- Control and monitor chemical parameters in plating baths
- Coordinate with chemical suppliers to resolve technical and process-related issues
- Optimize the use of chemicals for maximum efficiency
