Play Area Cleaning Technician

Job Summary

Sani-Tikes is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Indoor Playground Cleaning Technicians. Our technicians travel to different locations to provide thorough, detailed cleaning of indoor playgrounds and play areas.

This is a hands-on, physically active position performed as part of a two-person cleaning team. Each technician will be paired with another team member and will work together to complete cleaning assignments efficiently and to Sani-Tikes' high standards.

Sani-Tikes provides a company vehicle for transportation to and from job locations. Company vehicles are picked up at our headquarters at the beginning of each workday and returned to headquarters at the end of the day. A clean, valid driver's license is required.

Duties

• Report to Sani-Tikes headquarters at the scheduled start of each workday.
• Pick up the assigned company vehicle and travel with your teammate to scheduled customer locations.
• Work as part of a two-person team to complete cleaning assignments.
• Close and secure the playground area before beginning the cleaning process.
• Use air compressors and leaf blowers to remove dust, dirt, crumbs, hair, and other debris from cracks, crevices, and hard-to-reach areas.
• Thoroughly scrub and clean the entire playground structure from top to bottom.
• Work on hands and knees as necessary to reach all areas of the play structure.
• Clean slides, platforms, tunnels, steps, rails, climbing areas, netting, and other accessible surfaces.
• Pay close attention to corners, seams, crevices, and areas that are commonly missed during routine cleaning.
• Vacuum the surrounding floors and play areas after the playground structure has been cleaned.
• Mop floors and ensure the entire area is clean and presentable.
• Work cooperatively with your teammate to complete the job efficiently and thoroughly.
• Properly use, transport, and care for cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Follow Sani-Tikes cleaning procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with customers and facility staff.
• Return the company vehicle to Sani-Tikes headquarters at the end of each workday.

Requirements

• This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to:
• Spend extended periods standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and working on hands and knees.
• Reach overhead and into tight or difficult-to-access areas.
• Perform repetitive scrubbing and cleaning motions.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Work for extended periods while maintaining a consistent level of effort and attention to detail.
• Work in indoor environments that may vary in temperature and size.
• A clean, valid Driver's License is required.

Transportation

• Sani-Tikes provides a company vehicle for transportation between headquarters and customer locations.
• Employees are responsible for arriving at headquarters at their scheduled start time.
• Company vehicles are picked up from headquarters at the beginning of the workday.
• Company vehicles are returned to headquarters at the end of the workday.
• Employees are not required to use their personal vehicle to travel between customer locations.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
