Play Assistant

Role information:

• This is a casual position, during the school holidays shifts are available morning and afternoon

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging play activities that promote creativity, social skills, and physical development
• Support children during structured and unstructured activities, ensuring safety at all times
• Assist with setting up play areas and organizing materials to encourage independent exploration
• Collaborate with team members to plan age-appropriate educational games and learning experiences
• Communicate effectively with children in English and French to foster language development
• Support the supervision of children during outdoor play, snack time, and rest periods
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that adheres to health and safety standards

Experience

• Prior experience working with children through nannying, babysitting, teaching, or childcare roles is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to engage children in playful learning activities in both English and French languages
• Valid driving experience preferred for assisting with outings or transportation needs
• Strong communication skills with an energetic and positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment
• Passion for nurturing children's growth through fun and educational interactions

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
