Play Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Play Worker to join our team at, breakfast/after school, Saturday club and play scheme in providing engaging and safe play activities for children. The role involves supervising and interacting with children to ensure a fun and stimulating environment.

Duties

• Organise and lead play sessions for children
• Supervise children during playtime to ensure their safety
• Engage children in creative and educational activities
• Manage group dynamics and promote positive behaviour
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Drive the implementation of the nursery's play-based learning approach

-Put away equipment and cleans premises after use

Qualifications

• Proficient in English to effectively communicate with children and colleagues
• Previous experience in nursery, childcare, or early childhood education is desirable
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and engaging with children
• Ability to drive positive interactions and manage group activities effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.75-£13.15 per hour
