Playground Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Playground Installer to join our dynamic construction team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining outdoor playground equipment and related structures. Your expertise will help create safe, engaging, and durable play environments for communities. Responsibilities

• Install playground equipment, including swings, slides, climbing structures, and safety surfacing according to project plans and specifications
• Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and safety protocols to ensure precise installation
• Use hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery to assemble and secure playground components
• Conduct site inspections during installation to verify compliance with safety standards and quality expectations
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion of outdoor construction projects
• Perform maintenance repairs or modifications on existing playground structures as needed
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management, building construction, or outdoor hardscaping projects
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and interpreting technical drawings
• Knowledge of construction estimating, inspection processes, and safety protocols
• Experience with plumbing, electrical work, drywall installation, plastering, caulking, stucco application, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet installation or door hanging is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards
• Strong understanding of building material installation including wood framing (carpentry), trim carpentry, window installation, remodeling projects
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed construction plans accurately
• Prior experience working on hardscaping or recreational outdoor projects is preferred
