Playwright Automation Tester

Hands-on experience in Playwright automation using C# (mandatory); Java experience is an added advantage.

• Strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining Playwright automation frameworks using C#, NUnit, and Page Object Model (POM).
• Working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver for web automation and migration of existing Selenium frameworks to Playwright.
• Good knowledge of SQL, database validation, and backend data verification.
• Experience in designing, creating, and executing test cases, including test management in Azure DevOps, covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience with NUnit/xUnit, Playwright framework, and automation best practices.
• Proficiency in writing test scenarios using Gherkin and implementing BDD frameworks such as Reqnroll (preferred) or SpecFlow.
• Familiarity with API testing tools and libraries such as RestSharp, Postman, and Swagger.
• Experience with test reporting tools such as Allure Reports.
• Strong understanding of web UI automation, including Playwright locators, waits, synchronization, network interception, and browser context management.
• Experience with cross-browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit) using Playwright.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control, branching strategies, and collaborative development practices.
• Experience integrating automation suites with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of test data management, configuration management, hooks, and reusable automation framework design.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and AI-assisted development/testing workflows.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration for test automation.
• Experience using Copilot Agent Mode for automation development, debugging, and test generation.
• Exposure to test automation framework modernization initiatives, including migration from Selenium/SpecFlow to Playwright/Reqnroll.
