PLC & Robotic Automation Engineer

Our client is the Westernized automotive part industry. They are hiring the candidates who have the qualification as below;

Position:                  PLC & Robotics Automation Engineer

Salary:                      50,0000-60,000 Baht (Total package)

Location:             Pluakdang, Rayong

Working Day:        Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

1. Lead automation improvement projects to enhance robotic welding efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
2. Design, develop, install, commission, and maintain PLC, HMI, SCADA, and automation control systems for manufacturing equipment and production lines.
3. Support machine installation, production line relocation, capacity expansion, safety improvement, and automation projects.
4. Troubleshoot PLC/HMI programs, electrical control systems, sensors, servo drives, vision systems, robots, and machine communication issues to minimize downtime
5. Improve machine control logic to enhance safety, quality, OEE, traceability, and error-proofing.
6. Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, IT/OT, and external suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
7. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation and electrical control failures.
8. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including electrical drawings, PLC backups, control sequences, and operating manuals

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA, Automation Engineering, Electrical Control, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing environment; automotive, welding, metal fabrication, assembly, or high-mix manufacturing is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects.
• Strong PLC programming skills (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen-Bradley, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, CC-Link, and OPC UA.
• Familiar with servo drives, inverters, sensors, robot interfaces, vision systems, barcode/RFID systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Good command of English
