About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Specialist to join our growing team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our Electrical/Electronics Engineering division, where you will play a crucial role in designing, programming, and maintaining PLC systems for our industrial automation projects. You will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge automation solutions that drive operational efficiency for our clients and contribute significantly to PT Citra Centrapasific's continued growth and reputation in the sector.

Key responsibilities

1. Design, program and test PLC systems using industry-standard software and platforms
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive PLC documentation, including system architecture, logic diagrams and technical specifications
3. Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand automation requirements and translate them into effective PLC solutions
4. Install, commission and troubleshoot PLC systems at client facilities to ensure optimal performance
5. Perform regular system maintenance, updates and improvements to existing PLC installations
6. Conduct on-site and remote diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues promptly
7. Provide technical support and training to clients on PLC system operation and maintenance
8. Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards, safety regulations and quality requirements
9. Participate in continuous professional development and stay current with emerging PLC technologies and best practices

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
2. Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
3. Proficiency with major PLC platforms such as Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley CompactLogix, or equivalent systems
4. Strong knowledge of ladder logic, structured text and other IEC 61131-3 programming languages
5. Experience with SCADA systems, HMI (Human Machine Interface) design and integration
6. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to resolve complex technical problems
7. Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, EtherCAT, etc.)
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
9. Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
11. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required
12. Preferred: Experience with CAD software, electrical schematic design tools and project management methodologies
