PLC / Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a capable and hands-on PLC / Automation Engineer to support our manufacturing operations, with a primary focus on equipment control systems, tester functionality, and automation reliability.

This role is critical in ensuring that our production equipment operates smoothly, with minimal downtime, through effective troubleshooting, system understanding, and continuous improvement of machine control logic.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently on PLC-related issues and support the team in maintaining stable and reliable operations on the shopfloor.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:

PLC-controlled equipment

Tester systems and machine sequencing

Electrical and control-related faults

Support and improve:

PLC programs (logic adjustments, minor modifications)

HMI interface and control functionality

Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to:

Ensure fast recovery from equipment breakdowns

Improve overall equipment reliability

Support:

Equipment setup and commissioning

New model or process development activities

Maintain proper documentation of:

PLC programs and changes

Electrical drawings and control logic

Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering or equivalent

Minimum 3–8 years of experience in manufacturing or automation environment

Practical experience in:

PLC systems (troubleshooting and basic programming)

Electrical control systems and wiring

Able to:

Understand machine logic and sequencing

Diagnose and resolve control-related issues on equipment

Preferred (Added Advantage)

Experience with:

Tester systems or automation equipment

Sensor integration and control systems

Ultrasonic / heat staking processes
