PLC Engineer

As a PLC Engineer, you will be the primary technical expert responsible for the programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of our automated manufacturing systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring our specialized cable production machinery operates with maximum precision and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Code, and test PLC programs (Siemens, Omron, Schneider, or Mitsubishi) and HMI interfaces tailored for cable manufacturing processes.
• Lead the integration of automation software with mechanical hardware to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Provide expert-level diagnostic support for complex electrical and automation failures to ensure rapid recovery of production.
• Identify aging control systems and spearhead retrofitting projects to modernize existing machinery.
• Maintain accurate electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and software backup libraries.
• Work closely with the Maintenance and Production departments to implement process improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming.
• Experience within the Wire & Cable industry or heavy manufacturing is a significant advantage.
