PLC Programmer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and self-driven Service Engineer / PLC Programmer who can work independently and handle industrial automation projects from start to finish.

The candidate should be capable of PLC programming, machine automation, troubleshooting, drive commissioning, and motion control systems without supervision.

The role requires strong practical experience in industrial environments and the ability to diagnose and solve complex automation issues at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

Independent Automation Project Handling

• Handle automation projects independently
• Understand machine logic and process requirements
• Develop and modify PLC programs
• Complete machine commissioning and testing

PLC Programming

• PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Ladder logic development
• I/O configuration and testing
• Debugging and optimization

PLC platforms may include:

• Siemens PLC
• Delta PLC
• Mitsubishi PLC
• Omron PLC

Motion Control Systems

• Servo drive configuration and tuning
• Multi-axis motion control systems
• Motion controller programming

Experience with **CODESYS platform and motion controllers will be an added advantage.

Drive Systems

• Installation and commissioning of VFD drives
• Servo drive setup and parameter tuning
• Motor parameter configuration

Machine Troubleshooting

• Diagnose complex machine faults
• PLC communication issues
• Drive faults and motion errors
• Electrical control system troubleshooting

Industrial Communication

Knowledge of communication protocols:

• Modbus
• Profibus
• Ethernet/IP
• EtherCAT
• RS485 communication

Site Service & Commissioning

• Machine installation and commissioning
• Breakdown troubleshooting at customer sites
• System testing and validation
• Customer technical support

Documentation

• PLC program backups
• Service reports
• Commissioning reports
• Fault analysis documentation

Required Technical Skills

Strong practical knowledge of:

• Industrial PLC systems
• VFD drives and servo drives
• Industrial control panels
• Sensors, encoders, feedback systems
• Machine automation logic

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
