PLC Programmer

Position : PLC Programmer

Roles & Responsibilities :

Develop PLC programs independently for robotic automation and special- purpose machines.

Program and troubleshoot Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Delta PLCs.

Develop machine logic based on mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, sequence of operation, and customer requirements.

Prepare and modify PLC programs for machine automation, interlocking, sequencing, alarms, timers, counters, and safety functions.

Understand and troubleshoot sensors, solenoid valves, motors, VFDs, servo systems, safety devices, and other automation components.
Read and understand electrical control panel drawings and wiring diagrams.

Carry out control panel wiring, field wiring, I/O checking, and electrical troubleshooting.
Coordinate with the Mechanical, Electrical, Design, Production, and Service teams during machine development.

Conduct machine commissioning and troubleshooting at the company and customer site.
Identify electrical and programming issues and provide quick corrective solutions.

Maintain proper backup of PLC programs, HMI programs, electrical drawings, and project-related software.
Support the Service Team for machine breakdowns, modifications, and customer technical issues.

Prepare basic programming and commissioning documentation for completed projects.
Ensure automation systems are completed according to project timelines and quality requirements.

Skills :
Siemens PLC: S7-1200 / S7-1500 / TIA Portal preferred.
Mitsubishi PLC: FX / FX5U / Q Series or equivalent.
Delta PLC: DVP / AS Series or equivalent.
Good understanding of PLC I/O, sensors, actuators, relays, contactors, VFDs, servos, and safety circuits.
Strong knowledge of control panel wiring and field wiring.
Knowledge of industrial communication such as Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, RS-485, or similar protocols will be an advantage.

Qualifications : Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics

Salary Range : 50K to 55K (salary bar increase for right candidates)

Experience : 5yrs to 6yrs

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
