PLM Program Manager

Job Title: PLM Program Manager & Onsite Coordinator

Location: East Syracuse, NY

Duration: 1year with extension

Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in USA

Job Summary The PLM Program Manager & Onsite Coordinator will lead Windchill PLM technical delivery, manage a large technical team, coordinate customer requirements, and oversee customizations, deployments, upgrades, and go-live support. The role requires a combination of hands-on Windchill Technical Architect expertise, program management, customer engagement, and resource planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage 25+ resources across different technical skill sets, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and best practices.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between the customer and the delivery team.
• Coordinate requirements, enhancements, deployments, project status updates, and go-live support.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews, KPI reports, and senior management updates.
• Manage resource planning, allocation, project schedules, and delivery milestones.
• Support proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), effort estimation, and project planning using Microsoft Project and Visio.
• Design, customize, and support Windchill PLM applications and associated PTC products.
• Manage Windchill customizations involving ACLs, lifecycles, workflows, InfoTasks, Webjects, OIRs, and actions/action models.
• Support infrastructure design, system upgrades, workflow development, and technical issue resolution.
• Ensure delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and adherence to project timelines.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Must have 10+ years of Windchill PLM + Technical Architect experience + 3+ years of customization + team leadership + customer coordination.
• Must have exeperience with Windchill 13.0/13.1, PDMLink, Java/J2EE, workflows, ACLs, OIRs, Microsoft Project, and Visio and the PTC product suite.
• 3+ years of Windchill customization experience using Version 10 or later.
• Experience with Windchill 13.0/13.1 preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ACLs, lifecycles, workflows, InfoTasks, Webjects, OIRs, and actions/action models.
• Programming knowledge of Java, JSP, JavaScript, J2EE, and XML.
• Strong customer-facing, technical coordination, and communication skills.

Program & Team Management

• Experience managing large technical teams, ideally 25+ resources.
• Customer requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
• Resource allocation, project planning, effort estimation, and delivery tracking.
• Experience preparing proposals, SOWs, and management reports.
• Deployment, upgrade, enhancement, and go-live coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ArborText Content Delivery.
• BOM Transformation and Change Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science, or qualifying equivalent experience.
