PLM Project Manager

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced PLM Project Manager with 12-15 years of experience in Teamcenter implementation, support, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background with hands-on experience in Teamcenter Rich Application Client (RAC) and Active Workspace (AWC), along with proven project management and customer-facing experience.

The candidate will be responsible for managing PLM projects, leading cross-functional teams, driving customer engagements, and ensuring successful project delivery while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule commitments.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Teamcenter implementation, upgrade, migration, rollout, and support projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resource planning.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, status reports, and governance dashboards.
• Conduct project reviews and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure adherence to project delivery methodologies and quality standards.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and business stakeholders.
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
• Manage customer expectations and drive issue resolution.
• Present project status, risks, and mitigation plans to management and customers.

Team Leadership

• Lead onsite and offshore delivery teams.
• Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor and guide technical team members.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and skill development activities.

Technical Oversight

• Provide functional and technical guidance on Teamcenter solutions.
• Review solution designs, customization approaches, and deployment strategies.
• Support architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with PLM best practices.

Risk & Quality Management

• Identify project risks and create mitigation plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure SLA, KPI, and customer satisfaction targets are achieved.
• Manage change requests and scope control processes.

Business Development Support

• Support effort estimation and proposal preparation.
• Participate in solution discussions and customer workshops.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and account growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Essential skills:

• 12-15 years of overall experience in PLM/Teamcenter.

• Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience.

• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter RAC and AWC.

• Experience managing global onsite-offshore delivery teams.

• Strong experience in customer-facing roles.

• Experience in Agile and Waterfall project delivery models.

• Experience in managing support and enhancement engagements.
