Role Overview:-

We are seeking an experienced PLM Support Engineer to provide functional and technical support for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications within the Retail domain. Candidates with hands-on experience in FlexPLM or other PLM platforms are welcome.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in PLM configuration, customization, production support, system integrations, and product development processes , with the ability to work closely with business users and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Provide production support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements for PLM applications .
• Configure and customize PLM solutions based on business and functional requirements.
• Support end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management and product development processes .
• Work with business users to gather requirements, analyze issues, and recommend effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between PLM and enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, or other integration technologies .
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Create and execute test plans, support UAT, and coordinate application deployments.
• Manage application configurations, data migration activities, upgrades, and release support.
• Perform database troubleshooting and optimize SQL queries where required.
• Collaborate with business, technical, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality PLM solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, support guides, process documentation, and knowledge articles.

Required Skills & Experience:-

• 5+ years of overall IT experience .
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with a PLM platform , preferably FlexPLM .
• Experience in the Retail, Apparel, Footwear, Consumer Products, Manufacturing , or related industries is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Product Development and PLM processes , such as:
• Line Sheet Management
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Materials Management
• Sample Management
• Product Specification and Development
• Product Data Management
• Experience in:
• Solution analysis
• Functional implementation
• PLM configuration and customization
• Business process mapping
• Requirements gathering
• Testing and UAT
• Production support
• Incident and problem management
• Experience with PLM data models and configuration frameworks . FlexPLM Type Manager experience is preferred for FlexPLM candidates.
• Good understanding of application development and integration technologies, such as:
• Java
• JavaScript
• JSP
• SQL
• XML
• JSON
• SOAP Web Services
• REST APIs
• Strong Oracle SQL/database experience, including writing and optimizing complex queries, is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business users and technical teams.

Preferred Experience:-

• Hands-on experience with FlexPLM, Windchill, Centric PLM, Siemens Teamcenter, PTC, SAP PLM , or other enterprise PLM platforms.
• Experience supporting PLM integrations with ERP, supply chain, merchandising, or other enterprise applications.
• Experience in PLM implementation, migration, upgrades, or transformation projects.
• Experience working in a global or multi-country enterprise environment.

Note: Candidates with strong hands-on experience in any enterprise PLM platform will be considered; FlexPLM experience is preferred but not mandatory .
