Plow Operator

In this energetic position, you will operate heavy equipment to perform snow removal, excavation, grading, and utility locating tasks. Your expertise will ensure that construction projects progress smoothly and safely, adhering to all safety regulations and equipment procedures. Responsibilities

• Operate plows, loaders, excavators, backhoes, water trucks, and other heavy construction machinery with precision and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Conduct excavation and grading activities to prepare construction sites for building or utility installation.
• Locate underground utilities accurately using specialized tools to prevent damage during excavation work.
• Follow federal construction safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with construction utility work by installing, repairing, or maintaining underground utilities as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, or water trucks within a construction setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving and utility locating.
• Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to safety regulations on-site.
• Construction site experience with skills in excavation, grading, utility work, and heavy machinery operation.
• Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment or similar brands effectively.
• Familiarity with construction utility work procedures and equipment safety procedures is highly desirable.
