Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• Own the end-to-end coding lifecycle from requirement analysis and design to development, unit testing, and deployment
• Develop, customize, and maintain reports (e.g., Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, or similar reporting tools)
• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and other developers
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and documentation guidelines
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Oracle technologies
• Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, exception handling)
• Proven experience in end-to-end software development/coding
• Experience in report development (Oracle Reports / BI Publisher / similar tools)
• Strong understanding of database design, performance tuning, and query optimization
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
