We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the migration of OPAL business rules from Sybase ASE 16 to Oracle 19.3.
• Analyze existing SQL business logic and adapt it to the Oracle environment.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions, promoting code reuse and maintainability.
• Apply Oracle best practices and SQL optimization techniques to ensure performance and reliability.
• Analyze, develop and enhance software modules according to functional specifications and project plans.
• Participate in module deployment and integration activities.
• Follow development standards and coding best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation covering migrated business rules and implemented solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and technical teams to ensure the correct implementation of business requirements.

PROFILE & SKILLS

• More than 3 years of professional experience in PL/SQL development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases.
• Experience developing PL/SQL packages, stored procedures and functions.
• Solid knowledge of SQL optimization and database performance tuning.
• Ability to analyze and translate complex business rules into database code.
• Knowledge of Oracle development best practices, with a focus on code reuse and maintainability.
• Experience with database migrations is highly valued.
• Knowledge of Sybase ASE and Transact-SQL is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy throughout the migration.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
