What they need

What your day could look like

As a Plumber, you'll help create safe, functional and reliable healthcare environments for patients, staff and visitors. From maintaining essential infrastructure to providing practical advice and solutions, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of facilities that support healthcare across the region.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering high-quality plumbing, drainage and gas maintenance that keeps critical services running safely and efficiently.
  • Identifying issues early and implementing practical solutions that minimise disruption and improve reliability.
  • Partnering with maintenance teams and stakeholders to achieve strong service outcomes across multiple sites.
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Let's Talk About You

You're someone who takes pride in your trade and understands the importance of reliable infrastructure in healthcare settings. You bring compassion through service, integrity in your workmanship, dignity in the way you work with others, innovation in solving problems and courage to tackle challenges when they arise. You'll gain satisfaction from knowing your work helps create safe environments where healthcare can be delivered every day.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current Queensland Plumber and Drainer registration and a valid driver's licence.
  • Trade qualifications in plumbing and draining, with strong technical knowledge and practical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and customers.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have gas work licensing, backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valve endorsements, and/or a restricted electrical licence.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering dependable services, solving real-world problems and making a positive difference in the communities we serve.

Together, you'll help create safer healthcare environments while living the values of Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage.
