Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new constructions or existing structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and modify plumbing components with precision
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks, blockages, or other issues; perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project tasks effectively
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support installation activities
• Follow all safety protocols and building codes to ensure compliance during all phases of work

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
• Experience with carpentry, HVAC systems, and schematic interpretation is highly desirable
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and construction assembly techniques
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work
• Ability to operate heavy machinery or commercial driving vehicles is a plus
• Familiarity with schematics for plumbing layouts and system configurations
