Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential buildings
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and modify plumbing components accurately
• Conduct inspections to identify leaks, blockages, or system failures; troubleshoot issues effectively
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair tasks
• Apply basic math skills to measure, cut, and fit pipes or fixtures precisely according to specifications
• Collaborate with carpenters or other tradespeople during project setups requiring assembly or structural adjustments
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed to ensure compliance with safety standards

Experience

• Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair within commercial or residential environments
• Skilled in welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications
• Proficient with hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers; comfortable using power tools for various tasks
• Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, including piping layouts and fixture connections
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during installation or maintenance projects
• Familiarity with basic math for measurements and calculations needed on-site
• Experience with carpentry or assembly work is a plus; valid commercial driving license is desirable for transporting materials or equipment
