​Position: Hospital Plumber / Maintenance Plumber

Location: Bariyatu, Ranchi, Jharkhand

Job Type: Full-time | On-site (Shift Basis)

​Alam Hospital & Research Centre is looking for a skilled, dependable Plumber to join our facility maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted water supply, sanitation, and plumbing operations across all hospital wards, OTs, and facilities.

​Key Responsibilities

​Routine Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and repair hospital water supply pipelines, drainage lines, sanitation fixtures, valves, and water storage tanks.

​Emergency Leakage Control: Promptly address and resolve plumbing leaks, pipe blockages, and drainage issues to prevent disruption to patient care and clinical operations.

​RO & Utility Support: Support the maintenance team with plumbing connections for RO water plants, dialysis utility lines, overhead tanks, and central water pumps.

​New Installations: Install new sanitary fittings, pipes, taps, and water equipment as per maintenance or expansion requirements.

​Safety & Hygiene: Follow strict hospital safety, hygiene, and infection control standards while performing maintenance work in critical patient areas.

​Qualifications & Requirements

​Education: ITI Certificate in Plumbing / Trade Certificate, or Class 10th pass with relevant practical trade experience.

​Experience: 1–5+ years of practical plumbing experience (prior experience in a hospital, hotel, or commercial building facility is preferred).

​Skills: Knowledge of PVC, CPVC, GI, and PPR pipe fitting, pump operations, leak detection, and basic repair tools.

​Availability: Willingness to work in flexible shifts and handle emergency maintenance calls on-site.
