Plumber

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director-Facilities, perform journey-level mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation and alteration of District plumbing systems; assist with the repair plumbing fixtures and systems to maintain District plumbing lines in safe and sanitary working condition; perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.

Education and Experience:

Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or equivalent GED supplemented by completion of an approved apprenticeship program in plumbing and two years journey-level plumbing experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures and systems.

Licenses and Other Requirements:

Valid California Class C driver’s license.

8 hrs/day; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Monday - Friday

• Written Examination Date: Thursday, October 29, 2026
• Performance Examination Date: Friday, October 30, 2026 (This date is tentative, and is subject to change)
• Panel Interview Date: Week of November 2, 2026 (Actual panel interview date is TBD)
