Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumber or a Plumber's Helper to join our dedicated team at a new construction plumbing company. This role involves working on the installation of plumbing systems in new homes and multi-family units. The ideal candidate will have experience in running waterlines and gas lines, with additional DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent) experience considered a bonus. We are committed to providing training to the right candidate and are looking for someone proficient in plumbing installation, reliable, and eager to grow within our company.

Duties

• Install waterlines and gas lines in new residential and multi-family construction projects
• Assist with the layout and assembly of plumbing systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with local codes and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
• Support senior plumbers in more complex tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work sites
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

• Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within new construction settings
• Proficiency in running waterlines and gas lines is essential
• DWV system experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is important
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual tasks in various environments
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to undergo training to enhance skills and knowledge

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
