Plumber/Driver – Water Filtration

Job Description

The Plumber/Driver – Water Filtration is responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation while supporting the installation, maintenance, and servicing of Jipang Trim water filtration systems. The position involves regular fieldwork, including driving to client locations, transporting equipment and materials, and performing plumbing and technical work related to water filtration units.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Field Support

• Drive company vehicles to client locations for installations, deliveries, maintenance, and service calls.
• Safely transport personnel, Jipang Trim units, tools, filters, spare parts, and other materials.
• Pick up and deliver equipment and supplies from clients, suppliers, and company locations.
• Plan efficient routes and ensure timely arrival at scheduled appointments.
• Conduct basic pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any vehicle concerns immediately.
• Keep the assigned company vehicle clean and properly maintained.
• Observe all traffic laws and practice safe and defensive driving.

Plumbing & Water Filtration

• Install Jipang Trim water filtration units at client and company locations.
• Perform plumbing connections involving pipes, fittings, hoses, valves, and water supply lines.
• Inspect and test connections to ensure proper water flow and prevent leakage.
• Perform scheduled filter and cartridge replacements.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and repair of water filtration systems.
• Identify leaks, damaged fittings, defective components, and other system concerns.
• Assist in the removal, replacement, or relocation of filtration units when required.
• Ensure the work area is clean and orderly after installation or servicing.

Equipment & Customer Support

• Properly handle and safeguard filtration units, tools, spare parts, and other company equipment.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with clients during service calls.
• Provide basic instructions to clients regarding the proper use and care of installed filtration units.
• Maintain records of installations, deliveries, maintenance, filter replacements, and repairs.
• Report technical concerns requiring additional assessment or replacement parts.
• Perform other driving, plumbing, delivery, and field-support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or vocational graduate.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in driving, plumbing, maintenance, installation, or similar fieldwork is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license appropriate for the company vehicle to be operated.
• Good and responsible driving record.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, including pipes, fittings, valves, and water connections.
• Experience with water filtration or water treatment systems is an advantage but not required; training may be provided.
• Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Familiar with Metro Manila and nearby areas.
• Able to use Google Maps or Waze.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying filtration units, tools, and materials.
• Willing to perform fieldwork and travel to different client locations.
• Honest, responsible, courteous, and customer-oriented.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, or extended hours when operationally necessary.
