Plumber / Gasfitter / Drainlayer

Our client, H & O Plumbing is seeking an experienced Plumber / Gasfitter / Drainlayer to join their team in Hawke's Bay.
 
This full-time role is responsible for delivering a wide range of plumbing, gasfitting, and drainage services across residential and commercial projects. As a key member of the team, you'll play an important role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
 
What You'll Be Doing

• Undertaking plumbing, gasfitting, and drainage installations, maintenance, and repairs
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing, gas, and drainage issues
• Installing, testing, servicing, and maintaining gas appliances and gas reticulation systems
• Ensuring all plumbing, gasfitting, and drainage work complies with relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements
• Working efficiently within a small team while liaising with builders, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers
• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required

What They're Looking For

• Qualified and registered Plumber/Gasfitter/Drainlayer with a minimum of 4 years' industry experience
• Current PGDB licence preferred
• Proven experience in residential and commercial plumbing, gasfitting, and drainage work
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
