Responsibilities

Assist licensed plumbers with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly using hand tools and power tools.
Support the setup and dismantling of plumbing systems according to blueprints and technical drawings.
Help interpret construction plans and building codes to ensure compliance during installation and repairs.
Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems on-site.
Handle pipe threading, cutting, and fitting tasks under supervision to ensure precise assembly.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures.
Assist with remodeling projects by removing old fixtures and preparing areas for new installations.

Requirements

Previous construction experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe installation, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques.
Strong safety awareness, including adherence to safety protocols such as power tool safety and site safety standards.
Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with team members or clients.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.

Pay: $26.73 - $32.19 per hour
