Duties

• Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools
• Prepare work sites by measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes and fixtures with precision and care
• Support with welding tasks when required, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during metal work
• Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure smooth workflow on-site
• Use basic math skills to measure and mark pipe lengths, angles, and other components accurately
• Operate commercial vehicles for transporting tools, materials, or personnel between job sites when necessary
• Follow detailed instructions to assemble plumbing components and ensure all systems meet quality standards

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pipe cutters to perform precise adjustments
• Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders for efficient assembly and modifications
• Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, fixtures, and basic building codes
• Welding skills are a plus for metal pipe fitting or repairs requiring metal joining techniques
• Strong understanding of carpentry principles for framing or supporting plumbing installations
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning in plumbing projects
• Valid commercial driving license preferred for transporting materials or equipment between sites
