Plumber/Supervisor

Plumbers and Apprentices for:

Commercial Plumbing and Heating; High-rise Plumbing and Heating; Residential Plumbing and Heating

**Pay: To Be Negotiated**

Duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Assemble and install pipes and fittings using various tools and techniques
• Perform pipe threading and cutting as necessary
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as HVAC technicians and carpenters, to complete projects
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems or areas for improvement
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
• Assist with remodeling projects as needed

Skills:

• Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring and cutting pipes
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and how they interact with plumbing systems
• Familiarity with carpentry techniques for framing and installing fixtures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Mechanical knowledge to understand the workings of plumbing systems
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues effectively
• Experience with assembling and disassembling plumbing components
• Proficient in pipe threading techniques
• Maintenance Person skills for general repairs and maintenance
