Oxyplumb is looking for an experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our friendly, professional team.

We work across domestic and commercial properties throughout Oxfordshire, covering everything from boiler installations and servicing to larger plant rooms, commercial heating systems and hot-water equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and wants to develop their experience within a growing local company.

You do not need to hold every qualification. We are interested in hearing from engineers with Gas qualifications, OFTEC qualifications, or a combination of both. If you also have commercial heating experience, we would be particularly keen to speak with you and can negotiate a higher salary.

What you could be working on

Depending on your qualifications and experience, your work may include:

• Domestic and commercial boiler installation, servicing and repairs
• Gas, LPG and oil-fired heating systems
• General plumbing, heating and hot-water repairs
• Unvented hot-water cylinders
• Commercial plant rooms and heating systems
• Pumps, controls, pressurisation equipment and system components
• Warm-air heating and other commercial equipment
• Fault finding, commissioning and planned maintenance

We will match the workload to your qualifications and strengths, with opportunities to gain further training and broaden your experience.

What we are looking for

We would like to hear from engineers who:

• Hold relevant Gas Safe and/or OFTEC qualifications
• Have practical plumbing and heating experience
• Can work confidently both independently and as part of a team
• Take pride in producing tidy, high-quality work
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues
• Are reliable, organised and able to manage their own workload
• Hold a full UK driving licence

Commercial experience, unvented qualifications and experience across multiple fuel types would be advantageous, but they are not essential for every applicant.
