Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our energetic team. Duties

• Install, service, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential properties
• Maintain and troubleshoot heating systems such as boilers, radiators, and HVAC units to ensure optimal performance
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble or modify plumbing and heating components
• Conduct inspections to identify issues with plumbing or heating systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Lift heavy equipment or materials safely while adhering to health and safety standards
• Read technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams to accurately execute installations or repairs
• Assist with the assembly of new systems or components as required for project completion

Skills

• Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to plumbing or heating system repairs
• Strong knowledge of plumbing principles, pipe fitting, and system layout design
• Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, along with power tools for efficient work execution
• Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and general mechanical knowledge
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and system specifications
• Carpentry skills for framing or modifying structures related to plumbing or heating installations
• Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks combined with good manual dexterity
• Valid commercial driving license preferred for transporting equipment or materials when necessary
• Experience in assembly of mechanical components or systems is advantageous
