Plumbing Designer

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Designer with at least 10 years of plumbing/sanitary design experience and strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience preparing plumbing design drawings, layouts, and documentation for building projects. US project experience is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed plumbing and sanitary design drawings using Autodesk Revit.
• Develop plumbing layouts, plans, riser diagrams, schematics, and construction documents.
• Design and coordinate domestic water, sanitary, stormwater, and other plumbing systems.
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure proper coordination.
• Perform plumbing system calculations and sizing of pipes and equipment as required.
• Coordinate plumbing designs with other disciplines and resolve design conflicts.
• Review drawings and technical documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions based on project requirements and client comments.
• Assist with preparation of specifications, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical support to the project team.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in Plumbing/Sanitary Design.
• Extensive hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit for plumbing design and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, sanitary systems, and building services.
• Experience in preparing detailed construction drawings and documentation.
• Good understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and design practices.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical disciplines.
• US project experience is a plus, particularly experience with US plumbing codes and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with US-based projects, preferably commercial, residential, multifamily, or other building projects.
• Knowledge of IPC (International Plumbing Code) and other applicable US standards.
• Experience working with remote/offshore engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary Revit workflows.
