Plumbing Estimator – Lead Commercial and Industrial Preconstruction Excellence

• Salary/Pay Rate: $85,000 - $110,000 per year (plus Year-End Bonus).
• Location: Onsite (Pinellas Park, FL.).
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday.

The Opportunity You will serve as a cornerstone of the preconstruction team, directly influencing the company’s growth by securing complex commercial and industrial projects. How You Will Make An Impact

• Execute precise quantity takeoffs for domestic water, sanitary, and storm systems to ensure bid accuracy.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and clients
• Formulate comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment using FastPIPE software.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify potential scope gaps or coordination risks early.
• Negotiate and level subcontractor and vendor quotations to maintain competitive project pricing.
• Develop value engineering options and alternate material solutions to increase project profitability.
• Coordinate smooth project handoffs by communicating critical estimate assumptions to the operations team.
• Maintain organized historical cost data to refine and improve future estimating benchmarks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of estimating experience specifically within commercial plumbing or mechanical contracting.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proven proficiency in using industry-standard estimating software (e.g., FastPIPE) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Demonstrated analytical skills necessary to evaluate project risks and meet strict bid deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Associate degree or technical training in a construction-related field.
• Experience estimating for healthcare, educational, municipal, or high-security federal facilities.
• Advanced knowledge of industrial plumbing systems and specialized mechanical installation methods.
