Our client is an established residential home services organization looking for a people-first leader to guide and grow its plumbing service operation. Focus:

• Lead a growing plumbing service team through daily coaching, clear expectations, and practical support that helps technicians perform at their best.
• Turn service and sales metrics into useful coaching conversations that improve technician performance without creating a high-pressure culture.
• Serve as the day-to-day leadership hub for plumbing service operations, helping technicians resolve customer, scheduling, and field challenges.
• Create individual development plans, conduct performance conversations, and build clear paths for technicians to strengthen their skills and careers.
• Review service activity and customer outcomes, then address trends, obstacles, and opportunities with the team.
• Support hiring and onboarding as the plumbing group expands, helping new team members become productive and connected quickly.
• Coordinate field support, ride-alongs, and backup coverage when technicians need additional leadership or problem-solving assistance.
• Partner with operations leadership to strengthen team standards, service quality, accountability, and sustainable growth.

Skill Set:

• At least 5 years of management experience, ideally within home services, field service, skilled trades, or another technician-driven environment.
• A grounded, approachable, people-first leadership style and a track record of motivating, mentoring, developing, and holding employees accountable.
• Ability to lead for results while maintaining a collaborative, positive team environment, including coaching around KPIs, service performance, and sales.
• Strong organization, sound judgment, and a solution-oriented approach to changing operational priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Flexibility to provide leadership support outside of standard business hours when operational needs arise.
• Experience leading field technicians or service teams, plumbing knowledge is helpful but is not required for the right leader.
• Clear communication skills and comfort working in a hands-on environment where leaders stay close to the team and day-to-day operation.
