Plumbing Service Technician

Tired of feeling like you’re digging ditches for a company that doesn’t have your back? Getting down into crawl spaces that you know your manager wouldn’t follow you into?

At Pioneer Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical, we know quality work doesn’t happen by accident. If that sounds like you, we’ve got a spot.

We’re looking for a plumbing technician who knows how to get in, get it done right, and leave the site cleaner than they found it. No babysitting. No drama. Just a crew that gets after it and a company that invests in your future.

What You’ll Get:

• Guaranteed weekly pay with the opportunity to make $100,000+ per year.
• Paid holidays, vacation time, parental leave, and training opportunities.
• Medical, dental, vision, prescription, and group life insurance.
• 401(k) with match and an HSA to keep your future on track.
• Company vehicle, gas card, uniform, phone, and tablet.
• Top Tech perks, including gift cards, prizes, lunches, and paid experiences.
• Referral bonuses, employee discounts, and an employee relief fund for when life throws you a curveball.

What You’ll Do:

• Pre-measure job sites and ensure accurate prep for clean, on-time installs.
• Install equipment properly and test for quality assurance.
• Document your work in our trade software, ServiceTitan, to keep your day running smooth.
• Pursue certifications if needed – we want to invest in people who are willing to invest in themselves.
• Own your route and represent Pioneer with professionalism.

What You’ll Bring:

• 1+ years of residential plumbing installation experience.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, without being micromanaged.
• Commitment to personal growth, ownership, and being part of a winning team.

What Makes Us Different:

This isn’t a job for clock-punchers. There’s a reason our plumbing installers are some of the highest-paid in the Knoxville market – a fact we take great pride in. Pioneer is where tradespeople come to build careers, achieve financial freedom, and be part of a no-drama team.

We don’t babysit. We don’t do red tape. We don’t burn people out. What we do is back each other up, take responsibility, and get the job done right the first time.

We live by a set of values we call GRIT:

• Growth – We embrace discomfort and get better every day.
• Respect – We treat people right, period.
• Integrity – We own our work, keep our word, and do what’s right – even when it’s hard.
• Team – We back each other up in moments of success and adversity.

Trust Your Career to Pioneer!
