Plumbing Sewer and Drain Technician

Subterranean – The Sewer Experts are looking for a dependable and hardworking Sewer & Drain Technician to join our team.

This position involves troubleshooting sewer and drain problems using cameras and locating equipment and then clearing blockages with the hydro jetter, augers and flex shaft tools.

The Sewer & Drain Technician will work with home owners and should be top notch with customer service. They will be the face for the company and the person who brings in many of the repair jobs for the other teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform camera evals and troubleshoot drain lines
• Run the hydro-jetting equipment
• Use drain cleaning equipment as needed
• Use the Locator and other locating equipment
• Maintain your truck and equipment.

Required:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
• Great customer service skills.
• Experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, sewer work, construction, or a related trade.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, including occasional longer workdays.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Comfortable performing physical work indoors and outdoors.
• Strong problem-solving skills and general mechanical ability.

Preferred Experience:

• Drain auguring or cabling.
• Hydro-jetting.
• Sewer camera inspections.
• Plumbing or pipe laying.
• Underground plumbing or sewer work.
• Driving and backing trailers.
• Mini excavator or skid steer operation.
• CDL is a plus but not required.

Pay:

$25.00 - $38.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule:

• Full-time

• 8- to 10-hour shifts
• Some longer workdays may be required depending on the workload.
