Position Overview

JDB Plumbing & Heating is seeking an experienced and motivated Plumber Working Foreman to lead plumbing projects and supervise field personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive plumbing knowledge, and the ability to manage projects efficiently while ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. The Plumber Working Foreman will oversee daily job site operations, coordinate crews, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in operating a Hilti Total Station or equivalent digital lay out equipment.
• Supervise and lead plumbing crews on residential, commercial, and new construction projects.
• Coordinate daily job site activities, schedules, manpower, and materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure all plumbing installations comply with local codes, project specifications, and company standards.
• Train, mentor, and support apprentice and journeyman plumbers.
• Monitor work quality and productivity to ensure project goals are met.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and customers.
• Identify and resolve job site issues and challenges.
• Maintain job site safety and enforce company safety policies.
• Complete project documentation, reports, and material requests accurately and timely.
• Conduct job site meetings and communicate project updates to management.

Qualifications

• Able to operate Hilti Total Station or equivalent digital equipment
• Minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred (where applicable).
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and work in various job site conditions.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
