Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service by engaging with clients and understanding their needs
• Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through product demos and detailed explanations
• Assist customers in selecting products that suit their preferences and needs, upselling when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and conducting regular inventory checks
• Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and documentation
• Handle retail store operations such as cashiering, processing transactions, and managing retail math calculations efficiently
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments
• Support the team with product knowledge sharing and conducting product demos to educate customers effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service environments is preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Experience operating POS systems, cash registers, and handling retail sales transactions accurately
• Knowledge of retail math principles including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and basic calculations
• Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Familiarity with cannabis products or willingness to learn about store merchandise and merchandising techniques
• Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Must be at least 21 years old (or age required by local law) and comply with all applicable regulations regarding cannabis sales
