PM ENGINEER (ELECTRONICS)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive test programmes, schedules, milestones, and timelines aligned with the overall product development and manufacturing plan.
• Coordinate the execution of multiple testing phases, including design verification, product verification, regulatory compliance, qualification, and reliability testing.
• Monitor and track test cases, test execution cycles, results, defects, and corrective actions to ensure timely completion and effective issue resolution.
• Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance (QA), Process Engineering (PE), New Product Introduction (NPI), Production, and Operations, to ensure smooth and successful project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement of test processes, focusing on yield improvement, test effectiveness, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Support risk assessment, technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities related to test processes, product performance, and customer issues.
• Support customer audits, product qualification, reliability testing, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead, manage, and develop the Customer Test Engineering team, including workload planning, performance management, coaching, and technical capability development.
• Monitor test performance and key engineering metrics, identifying risks and implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide technical leadership and cross-functional coordination to ensure testing activities meet customer, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience within the semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or test engineering environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in Customer Test Engineering, semiconductor/IC testing, NPI, project management, yield improvement, and technical troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of test engineering processes, test flow, product qualification, and manufacturing test requirements.
• Knowledge and practical understanding of reliability testing, risk assessment, quality systems, and test process controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and drive effective corrective actions.
• Good project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across Engineering, Quality, Production, NPI, and Operations teams.
• Results-oriented with strong ownership, organisational, and team management capabilities.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in a technical and international working environment.
