PM Technician - San Marcos Area

Our Dallas location supports all of North Texas, including the entire Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to support the service of material handling and industrial equipment at customer locations. This role is well suited for individuals with a solid mechanical foundation who are looking to build technical skills through hands-on training and real‑world experience.While this position is considered entry-level, it requires professionalism, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow procedures accurately. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Equipment You’ll Support

• Forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Electric pallet jacks and stackers
• Industrial batteries and chargers
• Dock equipment
• Sweepers and scrubbers

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance services in accordance with established standards
• Conduct detailed safety inspections and document findings
• Change fluids, filters, and perform lubrication services
• Inspect brakes, chains, hydraulics, tires, and electrical components
• Identify wear, damage, or developing issues and report them appropriately
• Accurately complete digital service reports and checklists
• Maintain assigned service vehicle, tools, and PM inventory

This role does not require major diagnostic repairs; however, attention to detail and sound mechanical judgment are expected.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or hands-on mechanical experience
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and inspection equipment
• Ability to follow written procedures and service checklists
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Professional communication and customer awareness
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work independently once trained

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
